Miscellaneous future projects

This page is devoted to miniatures unrelated to the Dangerous Boys that I plan to sculpt in the future. The miniature concepts shown here are a mixture of my own ideas and commissions.

This image is the first concept drawing for some Sverfneblin (Deep Gnome) Snipers.  For this project I was asked if I could design and sculpt a squad of alternate Warhammer 40K Ratling snipers based specifically on the Gnome sub-species of Sverfneblin.  This project is still in the fairly early stages of development, once I have tinkered a bit more with the overall look of these guys I will start to design the individual miniatures.  I will be aiming for a total of five minis in this project, a standard Ratling squad.

This is pretty much the final draft of the design, The next drawings will probobly be the specific Miniature design drawings. As you can see I have settled on a look that is virtually unchanged from my initial concept drawing. I like to think it was still worth tinkering with them a bit though.

This next concept is a Warhammer fantasy mini, a mounted Chaos Champ.  It’s a Nurgal Champion of course as Nurgal was alway my favorite Chaos manifestations.  This idea oozed into my head whilst drifting off briefly at work one day.  It’s one that I would really like to realize one day but given the size and complexity of the task (mainly because of the fly which I imagine will be very consuming to build, especially if I plan to be able to cast it) it will probably  have to wait patiently in the back of my mind for a while yet until I have enough spare time and a bit more sculpting experience.  I’m pretty certain that this mini will live eventually though.

This next sketch is just a quick Dark Elf mini idea that came to mind while I was thinking about how cool it might be to have a D&D campaign where the players are pitted against a Dark Elf Mafia family that runs the streets of some dodgy city from the shadows.
